A private vehicle will pick you up from your Chengdu hotel and drive to Leshan City (approx. 2 hours).
10:30 - 14:00 | In-depth Tour of the Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area
Arrive at the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descend the Nine-Bend Stack Path to gaze up at the 71-meter tall Tang Dynasty Maitreya Buddha. Explore Lingyun Temple, Wuyou Temple, and other sites.
14:00 - 15:00 | Lunch
Enjoy a local Leshan specialty lunch at a restaurant, such as Lotus Root Stewed with Spare Ribs or Bon Bon Chicken.
15:00 - 16:00 | Boat Cruise for Full-View
Take a boat cruise to view the Buddha's full majesty and the "Sleeping Buddha" landscape from the river.
16:00 | Return to Chengdu
